“There’s nothing more important than our good health – that’s our principal capital asset,” said Arlen Specter, an American lawyer, author and politician who served as a United States Senator from Pennsylvania from 1981 to 2011.

The bad impact of COVID-19 has taken lots of lives and also damaged the world’s economy. The government has regulated their citizens to follow the rule of wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing. People are scared to move out of their homes and are in deep terror of getting infected with the coronavirus. Although, wearing a mask does not make you safe from the virus but it can help to reduce the transmission of the virus from one person to another up to 50%.

Here are some reasons to wear face masks for the best COVID protection.

    They reduce viral transmission:

Various healthcare experts suggest that wearing a regular cotton mask can help in reducing the transmission of infected virus up to 50%, but it is necessary that everyone should wear the mask. The mask acts as a barrier, so make sure to cover your mouth and nose properly with the mask. Also, remember to wash hands after and before using the mask.

It can prevent the asymptomatic spread:

A report suggests that about 60% of viral transmission happens way before a person shows the signs of getting infected with the COVID-19 virus. This unknown spread is way dangerous than the actual coronavirus because it can infect people without them knowing anything.

So, wearing a mask is beneficial to reduce the unwanted spread of COVID-19. Along with that make sure to maintain proper hand hygiene and also follow the rules of social distancing whenever you go outside.

    Protecting Others:

Due to the harsh impact of COVID-19, a larger number have lost their lives. But the researchers and health experts suggest that the numbers could have been reduced if everyone had followed the rule of wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing in the first place. Wearing a mask can help to reduce the transmission of the infected virus near up to 60% that can protect you as well others too from getting infected.

    Good hygiene in general:

Well, the tradition of wearing a mask is very old and is still followed by every doctor and healthcare member. Medical professionals like- surgeons or dentists wear surgical masks to prevent themselves from the respiratory droplets that occur when a person talks, sneezes, or coughs, which may contain some germs or infected viruses.

Also, maintain good hygiene, wash your hands properly after removing the mask and wear a clean mask every time.

The UV Face Mask can be the best option for selecting the right mask as it is ideal for anyone who wants to keep their breathing safe from any potential viruses or bacteria. UV Mask is reusable, meaning you’ll never have to worry about running out of disposable masks.
