Snoring is a common problem that many people experience from time to time. Some people resort to using snoring mouth guards in Uk for relief but are not always successful in finding one that works for them. This blog post will discuss common problems with these devices and how to resolve them using simple remedies.

The most common problems with snoring devices are:

Mouth Guard Broken Or Fractured When Using

If you notice your mouth device is broken or fractured, it’s time to get a new one. It can happen if the mouth device is not properly fitted for your teeth and gums, so you should ensure that it fits correctly before wearing it to bed.

Snoring devices are more likely to break when made from a moldable material, such as thermoplastics or silicone. These materials can be sensitive and fragile compared to other mouth device materials like acrylics and polyvinyl chlorides (PVC).

Mouth Guard Is Falling Out Whilst Sleeping

If your mouth device is falling out of your mouth whilst sleeping, there are a few things that you can do. You must need to adjust the size of your device. If this does not work, you may need to try a thinner or larger device instead. Some people find that different materials work better than others.

If, even after doing these things, you find that your device still has an issue where one side keeps popping out while sleeping or talking due to being too soft/hard/thick or thin/soft/hard, respectively, then there are two possible solutions: Either purchase an additional one made specifically with these needs in mind—often called “boil-and-bite”—or add some extra padding on top using heat-resistant adhesive.

Can’t Breathe Through Your Nose With The Snoring Device

It can be a problem if you find that breathing through your nose is impossible when you wear your snoring device. It is usually because the mouthguard is too tight and is causing pain or discomfort in the nasal passages.

First and foremost, if loosening the device does not resolve the issue, try using a smaller size.

If neither of these options works for you, then another option would be to try switching from a traditional type of device over to one made out of acrylic instead – acrylic tends to fit better on different types of faces.

The Mouth Guard Causing A Gagging Sensation

If you’re gagging when wearing a mouth device, the size of your mouthguard is likely too big.

You can fix it by getting a smaller size and trying again. If the problem persists, however, it might be time to try a different type altogether. It is because some people find it difficult to breathe through their mouth while sleeping, especially if they suffer from sleep apnea.

The Snoring Mouth Guard Causing Uncomfortable Pressure Points On Your Teeth

Firstly, don’t force your snoring device. If you’re having trouble getting the device into place, don’t try to force it in further. Instead, it’s a good idea to use a mirror when putting it in so you can see where any pressure points are occurring.

Secondly, don’t push it too far back into your mouth. You might have heard that the best way to avoid discomfort from a snoring device is to keep it as far back on your palate as possible, but this isn’t true for everyone, especially those with crowded teeth or an over-bite (under-bite).

Tongue Is Getting Stuck Between Your Teeth

The tongue will get stuck between the teeth if your snoring device is too small. It can be painful and uncomfortable for the patient.

It will make it difficult to breathe properly and cause you to snore at night. If it feels like your tongue is being squished or pinched, take the device out and put it in a larger one.

    Conclusion

Hopefully, these tips will help you get the most out of your snoring mouth guard in the UK. If any of these issues are occurring, getting a new mouth device is important immediately. If these issues continue after trying all these options I’ve mentioned above, then contact a professional dentist so he can help figure out what may be causing them!
